Contribution of agriculture to Malawi’s total gross domestic product (GDP) dropped from 31.7 percent last year to 30.1 percent in 2010, said the Reserve Bank of Malawi. The financial review also shows that growth in agricultural activity stood at 1.5 percent in the year, which is slower than the 13.9 percent leap in 2009.
