Still looking for change after 30 years of Zimbabwean independence

On the 18th April Zimbabwe celebrated 30 years of independence. The last few years have been fraught with tension, as the Interim Government (IG) continues to grapple with the stalemate that has been in place since the signing of the Global Political Agreement (GPA) in 2008. Hungry for reform and better governance, the MDCs, with increasing desperation, look once more to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) for a solution.  The key question has become – from where or whom might leverage for change be found?
