Agriculture-Zimbabwe: New Methods to Maximise Yields

Communal farmers in the Zambezi Valley in Zimbabwe received seed and fertilizer from FAO through the EU Global Food Security Scheme. 176000 smallholder farmers nationwide will receive inputs for the 2009/2010 summer cropping season. The target is increased yield, efficient use of seeds and fertilizer, water harvesting and preservation of the environment. Read this story here.
